The sediment strainer drain socket kits comes complete with an Omni® Type-27 ball valve for quick and easy cleaning of sediment strainer screens without removing the screen support assembly. The ball valve can be opened to purge the screen area of waste and debris. Valve is supplied loose for piping waste pipe to desired location.

Asahi PVC sediment strainers come standard with a 20 mesh 316 stainless steel screen. Asahi offers a selection of screens with the intention of fitting a wider number of process needs. A couple of different mesh sizes screens are available in either PVC material or 316 stainless steel. They are as follows:
