Proweld Equipment Questionnaire

Click here to get a pdf copy of this form and our rental agreement.  Please complete and email to asahi@asahi-america.com

Asahi/America requires all welders to be trained on our equipment and material. This ensures proper installation and tool use. Welders familiar with thermoplastic welding can be trained more quickly on our equipment since they already have thermoplastic welding experience.

Note: Welding tool size does not indicate full capability of all piping materials in that size range. Some material may have weld pressure requirements above the tools output.

Please complete this form and send to Asahi/America for review of the project's tool needs.

Introducing- The Next Generation of IR Welding Technology

V3 Landing Page

Available for Purchase or Rental

Asahi/America, Inc., your experts in plastics introduces the latest innovation in automated infrared welding: the SP 110-S V3. The V3 combines proven repeatable and reliable IR welding technology with a more efficient design, numerous enhancements, and new features.

The SP 110-S V3 has been redesigned for increased automation, improved electronics and versatility in mind. The V3’s planer and heating element retract to provide a clear view of the weld and 360-degree access to the weld area. The overall weld process has improved automation providing greater weld efficiency.

The transport box is now more compact and functions as an integrated work bench with storage for all accessories. The machine is easily accessible and has been optimized for safe set-up in clean rooms.

The SP 110-S V3 now features a larger touchscreen and the latest electronic hardware. A higher memory and data capacity allows for storage of 20,000 welds and 42 custom weld parameters. Asahi/America’s Poly-Flo® co-extruded double wall pipe parameters come embedded in the standard parameters.

Additional data fields have been added to the weld labels, and weld data can now be managed via a smartphone app by scanning the QR code on the weld label.

The V3 also includes all the core features of our SP Series IR welding equipment including automated force control welding for the most reliable welds, magnetic clamp inserts for fast change-out, and adjustable planing and alignment controls for perfect fabrications.

Ideal for shop or clean room operation, the SP 110-S V3 welds 1/2” through 4” (20 mm – 110 mmm) single and double wall pipe including PP, PPn, PVDF, PE 100-RC, ECTFE and PFA.
