Asahi/America Introduces Speed Handle™ Kits for Butterfly Valves
Asahi/America, Inc., the leader in corrosion resistant thermoplastic fluid flow solutions, announces the addition of the Speed Handle™ to its manual butterfly valve option offerings. Sold as a kit consisting of Asahi/America’s Plasgear™ hand wheel and attached grip, the Speed Handle™ allows for smoother and faster single-handed revolutions of the hand wheel for quicker valve actuation.
The Speed Handle™ hand wheel is available in both red and blue PPG for the Type-241 and Type-243 Plasgear™ gear-operator. The Speed Handle™ grip is Nylon 6 (black) with a stainless steel 400 chromate-treated M10 bolt and stainless steel M10 hex nut.
Designed for Asahi/America Type-57, Type-57IL, Type-57LIS, Type-56 and Pool-Pro® butterfly valves in sizes 1-1/2 inches through 16 inches, the Speed Handle™ is an ideal accessory adder for aquarium, landfill, chemical processing and mining applications.
Asahi/America’s Speed Handle™ can be installed in the field to an in-service butterfly valve or at the factory as part of a new valve order.
