    1. Take-offs cannot be done from process and instrumentation drawings (P&ID's). Site plans will be needed for accurate assessment for leak detection components and routing.
    2. It is the responsibility of the installing contractor to supply their sales contact with a proper material takeoff, as different methods of system layout are used.
