| Introduceing the 10” and 12” PVC Wafer Check valves. Wafer Check valves in the 10” and 12” size range are critical in applications such as aquariums, water attractions, water treatment and municipalities. The new Wafer Check Valves valve bodies, discs and stopper assemblies are machined from solid PVC plate stock conforming to ASTM D1784 Cell Classification 12454A. This material was selected based on its excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties. | Asahi America, Inc. has expanded their pneumatic actuator product line by adding a new more powerful model, the M79P, to their family of pneumatic actuators. The double acting (air to air) M79PN pneumatic actuator can produce up to 40,441 inch pounds of output torque based on an 80 psi air supply. The single acting (air to spring) M79PSN pneumatic actuator can produce up to 15,660 inch pounds of output torque based on an 80 psi air supply. These new actuators are able to be mounted on Asahi/America large size butterfly valves (14" or larger) as well as most thermoplastic or metal large size ball valves and butterfly valves with standard ISO or NAMUR mounting dimensions. | Asahi/America, Inc., introduces their newest Limit Switch Box. The new limit switch mounts on all pneumatic valves and functions as a visible and electric limit switch. The namur style shaft connects directly to the actuator via bracket to ensure accuracy. The new limit switch is a low cost valve position indication solution. It features polyester-coated aluminum alloy construction, electromagnetic or inductive limit switches, mechanical indication of open/closed status with highly visible globe, easily adjustable cams for simple field calibration and 2-½" NPT conduit entries for wire protection. The latest model, SP110-S, includes numerous upgrades and features a completely automated welding process. The SP110-S controls all movement and parameters during each phase of the welding process (heating, change over, joining and cooling). The heating element and clamps are precisely controlled and moved by the welding equipment. | In 2005 we introduced the PVDF Extended Leg Elbow (5402), now we Introduce new Pro Line PP SDR11 (5007) and Poly Pure (6302) versions. Our advanced molding technique produced a long spigot elbow with a smooth transition from the bend. The adaptable Extended Leg 90 Degree Elbow has many advantages including improved flow characteristics and lower pressure resistance. The new Extended Leg Elbow in Proline is available in sizes 1/2" (20mm) through 8" (200mm). The Poly Pure style is offered in 1/2" to 4". The new part number series for Proline is 5007xx. The previous part number 5004xx is now obsolete. The new part number series of Poly Pure is 6302xx.

 | The Westlock P-10 pneumatic positioner accepts variable pneumatic instrumentation signals (typically between 3 and 15 psig) and regulates the 80-psi air supply to the actuator via a characterized cam, diaphragm and spool. The diaphragm receives an input pressure signal from the controller, which applies force to the spool valve spring causing the spool valve to move. This movement modifies the air pressure to the actuator, permitting the actuator to respond accordingly. The characterized cam transmits the actuator movement to the spool valve.  | The Safety Spring option for single acting pneumatic actuators. This option allows the removal of the end caps for maintenance or changing of the fail orientation without the fear of injury due to the stored energy of the springs. We have incorporated a captive spring design (shown as the black, green and yellow items) into the concentric spring pack so that they are contained, and the stored energy remains just that; stored. The Safety Spring option is available for the C79P through the G79P. The output torque of the actuator and actuator dimensions are unaffected with this option. Click here to learn more. |
 | The Integral travel stop for double and single acting pneumatic actuators. The integral travel stop allows for independent adjustment of the close stroke (0 °) from -2 ° to +4 °, and independent adjustment of the open stroke (90 °) from -4 ° to +2 °; and is available for models C79P through G79 P. This is a factory-installed option. All products that are manufactured have tolerances that must be met. When multiple manufactured products are assembled, the total tolerance for all of the "components" becomes exaggerated. When this occurs, it is possible that the actuator will rotate 90 degrees, but the valve will actually rotate less than 90 degrees. To compensate for this action, the actuator must travel more than 90 degrees so that the valve can travel to its full open and full closed positions.
