Asahi/America, Inc., the Wet Process People™, expands its advanced PV Series of Pinch Valves with the addition of the Electric Pinch Valve (PV-EL) for CMP slurry applications. The PV-EL is an ideal solution for flow control, and it provides superior resistance to wear due abrasion from slurry solutions. The PV-EL can provide flow control as low as 10 cc/min even with a diaphragm style pump.
The PV Series’ reliable design creates a significant increase in life expectancy over all high purity diaphragm valves. “For users experiencing difficulty with diaphragm valves in slurry applications, the new PV-EL proves to be an excellent solution. Cycle testing has shown that the PV-EL greatly reduces coagulation and provides an extended life over other high purity valves,” proclaims Asahi/America Vice President of Engineered Products, Scott Robichaud.
It is available in sizes ¼” – ½”. In addition to the new PV-EL Electric Pinch Valve, PV Series Pinch Valves are available in sizes ¼” through 1,” in manual and pneumatic (air to spring) styles, accommodating almost any end connection. External housing is offered in PVDF.
