Asahi/America, Inc., the Wet Process People™, introduces the Poly-Flo® Unitary Double Containment Piping System. The system is cost effective and easy to install, making it ideal for applications such as small laboratory drainage systems and pressurized transfer lines. It is also well-suited for applications in waste treatment, for transportation of sulfuric acid or caustic soda; EPA groundwater remediation sites; chemical processing; for moving bulk storage chemicals, such as sodium hydroxide and aluminum nitrate; and in semiconductor plants handling sulfuric, nitric and hydrofluoric acids for wet stations.
Asahi/America’s Poly-Flo system has a unitary extruded design and is constructed of polypropylene and high density polyethylene (HDPE) materials. A complete line of molded fittings, as well as special order fabricated fittings, for drainage or pressure applications are available in all size configurations offered. To be efficiently pre-assembled, patented double O-ring flanges allow the Poly-Flo system to be easily bolted into place in the field.
